January is always an exciting month for the global toy industry.

It's when manufacturers and retailers from around the world gather in Nürnberg, Germany to see what amazing toys are planned for the year ahead, and the all-important Xmas holiday season!

Janie & Joe has been a regular attendee at Spielwarenmesse, and after so many years attending the Toy Fair, it's so nice for our founder Sue to catch up with all her favourite brands!

NEW Learning Resources toys!

Learning Resources and Educational Insights have so many fantastic new products planned for 2020!

They have some excellent STEM themed products to suit all price points.

Many of their toys consistently win awards and we think this year will be no different!

Sue spent time with Mark to get a first-hand look at the new ranges of educational toys we'll be bringing to our loyal customers in Malaysia this year!

We can't wait!

And yes, we did have lots of fun in their special Playfoam zone!

NEW Melissa & Doug Role Play sets!

We're huge fans of the different role play toys from Melissa & Doug.

Sue spent time with David to hear all about what they're launching this year.

Their partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics really shines through in their new range of toys, which are designed to help children's development through peer play and imagination.

This approach is best seen with their exciting range of pretend play sets which we'll be bringing to Malaysia!
